At the spring conference in March this year, Apple launched the credit card "Apple Card" based on Apple Pay. Just recently, Ben Geskin, a well-known foreign digital product whistleblower, showed the true appearance of Apple's physical credit card. From the picture, we can see that the design of this credit card is very simple. In addition to the logo, there is an EMV chip on the card. It is understood that Apple Card is made of titanium alloy. Apple has also added an NFC chip to the outer packaging of the credit card to facilitate direct pairing of the credit card with the mobile phone. In addition, the leaked credit card belongs to someone in Apple's "semi-confidential" testing, so the Ben Geskin on the card is just a personal watermark added by the blogger. In addition, unlike the credit cards we use in daily life, the Apple Card does not have a card number or CVV number, and does not require a signature. When Apple released the credit card, it said that each Apple Card has a unique card number and a built-in Apple special security chip. It not only records all the user's consumption information (replacing complex and difficult-to-remember store names with familiar nouns or places for users to facilitate memory review), but also forms "bills" by week or month to help users manage their finances reasonably. Apple Card has two categories: physical card and virtual card. If you need a physical card, you can directly register and apply for it in Apple Wallet. In order to attract more users to use Apple Pay and Apple Card, Apple has specially launched a cashback campaign. Direct purchases through Apple phones, using Apple Pay, and physical card transactions can earn cashbacks of 3%, 2%, and 1% of the purchase amount respectively. The cashback amount can be used to purchase Apple services such as music, news, etc., and there is no upper limit on the daily cashback. Apple originally stated that it would first launch Apple Card in the United States this summer. As to whether it would be launched in China, Apple has not announced it. |
