Google releases Android 12 Beta 2.1 update: fixes bugs such as blocking access to lock screen content

IT Home reported on June 24 that according to foreign media GSMArena, Google released the Android 12 Beta 2.1 update. This update is mainly to fix some bugs in the Beta 2 version released earlier, including users being unable to access content on the lock screen.

The specific issues fixed in this update are:

• A bug that prevented users from accessing content on the lock screen, including pulling down the notification bar, swiping away notifications, etc.

• A bug where weather and calendar event information did not appear in the widget;

• Using gesture navigation to access recent apps causes the screen to flicker or jitter;

• A bug in which the new microphone and camera permission indicators introduced in Android 12 would sometimes get stuck and disappear completely until the phone was restarted;

• A bug where users were stuck on the setup wizard after installing the beta and resetting their device;

• Running in the Android emulator sometimes causes errors.

IT Home learned that the Android 12 Beta 2.1 version update released by Google is code-named SPB2.210513.011, and will be pushed to mobile phones that have installed Android 12 Beta2.
