Recently, according to the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission, Beijing started the deployment of AEDs in rail transit in October 2020, and by October 3, 2021, all subway stations in Beijing had achieved full coverage of AEDs. Stations on newly opened lines also completed AED deployment simultaneously. According to statistics, since the deployment of AEDs in subway stations, four passenger lives have been successfully saved.
