DingTalk is aggressively grabbing the TO B digital office market. Are Enterprise WeChat, Kingdee, Graphite Docs, Maimai and others in danger?

On the evening of December 9, DingTalk held a grand winter launch conference at 751D-Park in Beijing.

DingTalk CEO Wu Zhao announced DingTalk's comprehensive digital solution based on office scenarios such as "people, money, materials, and things."

The "things" here refer to the intelligent digital office that integrates software and hardware, including a digital intelligent network center, a digital intelligent front desk, and a digital intelligent conference room.

"Shi" refers to the digital intelligent document center, which enables online editing of documents in the cloud and intelligent collaboration. DingTalk chose to cooperate with Kingsoft WPS. The competition is aimed at online document products such as Graphite Documents and Tencent Documents.

"Finance" refers to digital enterprise payment. DingTalk and Alipay have jointly launched enterprise finance solutions, especially payment, reimbursement, and collection solutions. This is aimed at both traditional financial software such as Kingdee and UFIDA, as well as WeChat's AA collection.

"People" refers to digital business contacts, including digital business cards, directly referring to business card apps, Maimai, etc.

According to data provided by DingTalk, the five cities with the highest usage of digital office solutions are Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Hangzhou.

The fastest growing area is the government affairs sector, which has increased by 200% in the past six months compared to last year. In Zhejiang, the home base of DingTalk, the province is enabling all 1.1 million public servants in the province to achieve digital office and digital government through DingTalk. It must be said that Zhejiang's support for digital office is very strong.

Throughout the press conference, DingTalk's current competitors include WeChat for Business, WeChat Pay, facial recognition companies (artificial intelligence enterprise office scene applications) Graphite Docs, WeChat Docs, Kingdee, UFIDA, SAP, Business Card King, Maimai, as well as traditional office hardware manufacturers such as access control, Internet routing, video conferencing, printing and other fields.

DingTalk wants to dominate the digital office market with a unified hardware and software solution. DingTalk and its ecosystem partners such as Alipay and Kingsoft intend to form a super aircraft carrier in the digital office field.

According to official data from DingTalk, more than 7 million of the 43 million corporate organizations in China have become DingTalk users. DingTalk has been focusing on researching and developing digital solutions for office scenarios for more than 4 years, and has built a set of business infrastructure that is simple to operate, reduces costs, is people-oriented, and provides personalized office work.

At the same time, DingTalk's tactics are also very aggressive. DingTalk CEO Wu Zhao announced that DingTalk smart hardware will be free for 30 days. Currently, DingTalk has launched 14 hardware in three series, covering office scenarios such as access control face recognition, visitor reception, wireless Internet access, conference projection, remote video conferencing, and cloud printing. The total value of the kit is nearly 14,000 yuan.

Of course, ideals are beautiful. The biggest obstacle does not come from competitors, but from user habits. How to make China's 43 million companies accept the new digital office scene and be willing to pay is a long and arduous task. DingTalk has taken an important step as a comprehensive solution provider. I believe that in the future, it will provide more detailed and lower-cost solutions for enterprises at different levels.
