Lucid, an electric car once invested by LeTV, tested: speed exceeds 378 kilometers per hour

When Lucid unveiled the prototype of its new Air electric car, it impressed people with its top speed of 217mph (about 349km/h). But it seems that the company is not satisfied with this. Recently, it created a new record of 235mph (about 378km/h) at the Transportation Research Center in Ohio. Lucid conducted such a test not to create a high limit speed, but to obtain enough data through this test so that the staff can better adjust the suspension responsiveness and upgrade the ventilation device of the front electric engine. Obviously, the consumer version of Air will never reach such a speed. First, the consumer version has a speed limit setting; second, in order to achieve the highest speed as much as possible, the testers removed a lot of unnecessary parts of the car; and the tires of the consumer version will not be able to bear such a speed. Air is a new electric car that Lucid showed last year. It is said that its electric engine group can output 1,000 horsepower and accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers in about 2.5 seconds. The car will have 6 configuration options, and the entry-level model will cost about $60,000 (about 410,000 yuan in RMB).
