BYD: BYD sold a total of 373,083 new vehicles in August 2024, setting a new monthly sales record

According to media reports, BYD may raise its annual sales target from the previous 3.6 million to 4 million. BYD's sales performance in August was strong, with a total of 373,083 new vehicles sold, setting a new monthly sales record, of which passenger car sales were 370,854, a year-on-year increase of 35.3%. Since 2024, BYD's cumulative passenger car sales have reached 2,318,798 units.

Among BYD's various series of models, Dynasty Network and Ocean Network series sold a total of 355,679 units in August, Fangchengbao Automobile sold 4,876 units, Denza Automobile sold 9,989 units, and Yangwang Automobile sold 310 units.

In addition, overseas sales of passenger cars reached 31,451 units.

These data show that BYD's original annual sales target of 3.6 million vehicles is within reach, and the newly proposed target of 4 million vehicles, although more challenging, also shows the company's confidence in the market and affirmation of its own product strength.
