Volkswagen Group (China) presents the latest achievements of electric intelligent transformation at the 2024 World New Energy Vehicle Conference

[Beijing, September 27, 2024] Volkswagen Group (China) made its debut at the 2024 World New Energy Vehicle Congress and showcased five electric models of Volkswagen and Audi brands, including ID. 3, ID.7 VIZZION, ID. UNYX, Audi Q4 e-tron and Audi Q5 e-tron, as well as the Group's comprehensive charging and energy solutions. During the conference, Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Group, Feiming Song, CEO of the Audi SAIC Cooperation Project, and Sanchu Han, CEO of CARIAD China, delivered keynote speeches respectively, sharing the latest progress of Volkswagen Group in strategy, product and software research and development. Since the establishment of the World New Energy Vehicle Congress in 2019, Volkswagen Group has continued to participate in this event to showcase the latest achievements of the Group and its brands in the field of new energy and intelligent connected vehicles, as well as the Group's firm determination to accelerate transformation in the Chinese market.

Amid the rapid transformation of the global automotive industry, China has become a leader in innovation. Adhering to the "In China, for China" strategy, Volkswagen Group continues to strengthen its local R&D capabilities in China and expand its new energy vehicle product lineup, playing an important role in the transformation and upgrading of China's automotive industry. By 2030, Volkswagen Group will offer more than 30 pure electric models tailored for Chinese customers in China. At the same time, the Group is promoting the transformation of its powerful fuel vehicle lineup to new energy by developing hybrid technology.
