Samsung S8 continues to use Samsung SDI batteries despite Note 7 explosions

According to reports, Samsung will announce the final investigation results of the Note 7 explosion and combustion incident in the middle of this month. Those who have an impression should still remember that in the early days, Samsung SDI batteries had no choice but to bear the "blame", because after switching to China's ATL batteries, the explosions still did not stop, and finally had to recall all of them. Although the conclusion has not yet been made public, Korean media reported that Samsung has confirmed that the battery itself is not the culprit , so SDI has won the contract of Samsung's mobile phone department again and will become the supplier of Galaxy S8 . Previously, there were reports that Samsung would also ask LG for help in supplying batteries, but the final progress will need to be finalized after the S8 is launched, because supplier information is usually not announced at the product launch conference. According to the plan, the Samsung S8 is scheduled to be released in April, equipped with a Snapdragon 835 processor, with a radical design language, such as an ultra-high screen-to-body ratio on the front, a hidden fingerprint recognition on the front, and no Home button.
