WeChat officially announced today that WeChat mini-games have been officially connected to the health system, implementing real-name management and limiting the gaming time and spending amounts of minors.

It is reported that the health system is connected to the public security real-name verification system, and combined with the platform system capabilities, it moderately restricts and manages the gaming behavior of underage users.

After the WeChat mini-game is connected to the health system, users must have valid identity information. When entering the mini-game interface, users who have not verified their real names can click on the pop-up prompt box of "Remove real names" and enter valid identity information for real-name verification to complete the real-name authentication.

The healthy system will restrict minors from logging in to play from 22:00 to 8:00 the next day, and humanely distinguish between holidays and other times. The cumulative gaming time of minors on statutory holidays cannot exceed 3 hours per day, and the cumulative gaming time at other times cannot exceed 1.5 hours per day.

After real-name verification, underage users will not be able to use paid services that are not commensurate with their civil capacity:

Among them, users under the age of 8 cannot use the game payment service;

For users aged 8 to 16, the single recharge amount shall not exceed RMB 50, and the monthly recharge amount shall not exceed RMB 200;

To facilitate management, WeChat recommends opening a dedicated WeChat account for minors , which can flexibly use the health system and growth protection capabilities to control and plan the gaming time and payment amount of minors.

If it is inconvenient to change the account, you can also use the "Family Guardian" of the Growth Guardian platform. Just search for Tencent Family Guardian applet in WeChat, bind the WeChat account or QQ account of the parent and child, and you can set the game duration, time period, and consumption limit in the time management. When necessary, you can also "ban play with one click."

If a child spends money recklessly, the entire complaint process can now be completed within the mini-game .
