iOS 14.5 official version is here: 13 new features updated, 12 bugs fixed

After nearly three months of continuous improvement, Apple finally pushed the official version of iOS14.5 this morning. This is the largest version update since the release of iOS14. Apple has brought us a total of 13 new features and fixed and improved 12 BUGs. It is recommended that all models that meet the requirements be updated because the upgrade is too large.

The 13 new features are as follows.

1. Apple Watch can now unlock your iPhone
2. Support AirTag to search for devices through "Find"
3. Added a variety of new emoticons
4. AirPods and Beats headphones can announce incoming calls via Siri.
5. App privacy security continues to strengthen
6. Apple Music makes it easier to share songs and shows music from major cities in the form of charts
7. The Podcasts page has been redesigned
8. Deeply optimized 5G network usage on iPhone 12 models to make it more power-efficient
9. iPhone and CarPlay can play up to 911 accidents in the car
10. Reminders adds several new features
11. "Translation" can increase the playback speed by long pressing the play button
12. Supports XboxX/S, Sony PS5 wireless game controllers
13. You can share maps via Siri in CarPlay

The above are the new features. Next are the 12 BUGs fixed/optimized in iOS14.5.

1. Fixed an issue where the information at the bottom of the conversation could be blocked by the keyboard
2. Fixed an issue where deleted posts could still appear in Spotlight
3. Fixed an issue where messages could fail to be sent
4. Fixed the issue that some models require restarting the phone to access emails
5. Fixed an issue where call blocking and identification would not show up in phone settings
6. Fixed an issue with iCloud tabs not showing up in Safari
7. Fixed an issue where iCloud Keychain sometimes didn't work
8. Fixed an issue where reminders set by Siri would be accidentally changed to the early morning hours
9. Fixed inaccurate battery health on iPhone 11
10. Optimized the low light issue when displaying a black background on iPhone 12 models
11. Fixed AirPods' Auto-Switch sending audio to the wrong device
12. Fixes an issue where Automatic Switch for AirPods may not display or display repeatedly

The above are all the new features and bug fixes of iOS14.5. This is Apple’s biggest system update before iOS15 arrives. Next, we have to look forward to Apple’s WWDC21 in June, because at this developer conference, Apple will officially launch iOS15.

Judging from the information leaked so far, iOS15 is another major update compared to iOS14, and many interfaces have been redesigned. For example, iOS15 may have a brand new UI interface, a brand new lock screen, a brand new control center, a brand new APP background management, desktop components have been further optimized, the APP resource library is more practical, and so on.
