Summer night, let us look up at the stars

China is a country of poetry and the earliest country to have astronomical records. According to archaeological discoveries, my country already had the earliest written records of solar eclipses, lunar eclipses and stars in the Shang Dynasty. The Ganshi Star Classics of the Warring States Period is the earliest astronomical work in the world. In Chinese culture, knowing astronomy and geography is often considered an important condition for being a wise and intelligent person. The well-known Zhuge Liang's borrowing the east wind has raised this cultural identity to the highest level of popularity. The invention of the compass has expanded the scope of human activities, which is undoubtedly closely related to human astronomical discoveries and astronomical levels.

Today, humans have landed on the moon, and my country has even reached the back of the moon. The moon is so familiar to our Chinese civilization that it is like our own backyard. Chang'e, the Jade Rabbit, Wu Gang, the osmanthus tree... generation after generation of Chinese people are familiar with them; for thousands of years, we have placed our hopes on them, passed them on, and it is as if we have continued to reproduce under their care. They are inextricably linked to us.

"The sun and the moon seem to be coming out of it; the stars and the Milky Way seem to be coming out of it..." Although Cao Cao was criticized as a hero of his time, he used the stars and the moon to express his feelings and lament the brevity of life. Even after a thousand years, his feelings are still as strong as ever.

The summer night is quiet, and the sky is full of stars. Why don't we borrow some stars and moons today to ignite the delicate and deep meaning hidden in our eyes?

According to relevant records, in the summer nights, the earth moves to the opposite side of the center of the Milky Way, and the most stars can be seen after 12 o'clock at night. In the summer sky, three bright stars can be seen, namely Vega (α Lyrae), Altair (also called Aquilae) on both sides of the Milky Way, and Deneb (α Cygni) in the Milky Way, forming the Summer Triangle.
