It is understood that the reason for this recall is that the silicone brush strips of teethers and toothbrush brushes may be broken by infants and young children. After the silicone brush strips are broken, small parts are formed, which may be swallowed by infants and young children during use. To avoid damage, it is recommended to stop using them immediately.

In response, Shanghai Tongzhen Trading Co., Ltd., as the general agent of Baby Banana in China, will release a recall plan on its official website (http://www.western-baby.com.cn/). From April 3, 2023 to October 2, 2023, consumers who provide proof of purchase of the relevant batch of products from Baby Banana's official channels in China can return or exchange the products.

If you need to exchange the product, you can exchange it for the same quantity of the same brand product; if you return the product, you will be refunded according to the actual amount paid on the voucher.

It is reported that Baby Banana’s official channels in China include but are not limited to: Baby banana Tmall flagship store, Baby banana JD flagship store, offline authorized stores, etc.

Shanghai Tongzhen Trading Co., Ltd. also stated that there are currently no specific testing standards for silicone teethers in the domestic market. In order to avoid safety hazards, this recall was proactively reported to the quality inspection department. Except for these two recalled products, the remaining products have no safety issues.

In addition, the reporter also noticed that the announcement marked two online platform sales channels, but after searching, no relevant online stores were found. In response, Shanghai Tongzhen Trading Co., Ltd. stated that when carrying out this recall, in order to cooperate with the recall, the two online platform flagship stores were removed from the shelves, so the two official online flagship stores cannot be searched for the time being.
