Long-term reasons and short-term investments

Analyzing my own investment experience, I often make a mistake: that is, I use the reason of long-term investment to make short-term investment, or vice versa. Especially when there is a small profit, it is easy to have a self-identification mentality. I always promise long-term investment, but how many people can actually do it? Moreover, long-term investment may not be so beautiful. Investment is similar to gambling, which is only related to winning and losing, and has nothing to do with whether it is noble.

Today I saw an article about A-shares and H-shares. It was very profound and I saved it. If you really want to hold Sinopec for many years, you should buy H-shares. Otherwise, the price difference seems to have nothing to do with investors. What exists is reasonable, and of course it is reasonable if it changes one day.

But all of this can only be truly understood after you have freed yourself from the confusion of value investing or long-term investing.
