The national carbon emission trading market was launched in July 2021, marking the official opening of the world's largest carbon market. Stakeholders such as emission-controlled enterprises, related industries, investors, government agencies, and research institutions pay close attention to the operation and development of the carbon market. Since its launch in 2013, the "China Carbon Price Survey" has been committed to collecting, collating and analyzing information and views of stakeholders on the development of China's carbon market and the trend of carbon prices. This information comes from first-hand questionnaire surveys. It is hoped that through continuous carbon price surveys, it will provide practitioners with a perspective to observe China's carbon market and provide reference for decision makers. This year's carbon price survey report continues to be funded by the Environmental Defense Fund, the Energy Foundation and the Norwegian Environment Administration, and is implemented by ICF International Consulting and Beijing Zhongchuang Carbon Investment Technology Co., Ltd., and has received strong support from relevant industry associations, power groups and industry colleagues.
