LaFerrari is a flagship supercar launched by Ferrari, which uses a hybrid system called HY-KERS. It is limited to only 499 units worldwide, with a combined output power of 708 kilowatts and an acceleration of less than 3 seconds per 100 kilometers. However, according to the latest news, this Italian supercar brand plans to further expand the production capacity of its hybrid sports cars, and has already made a detailed plan.

Ferrari CEO Sergio Marchionne said in a recent investor conference call that Ferrari has plans to produce more hybrid supercars in the future. The company plans to start mass production of the successor to the Enzo F12 supercar in 2019, and the first hybrid supercar production model will officially roll off the production line in 2020.

At the same time, Sergio Marchionne also said that Ferrari will continue to increase the production capacity of LaFerrari from 2020 to 2025, rather than limiting it to the previous 499 units.

"Although I cannot give the exact production capacity and production and sales targets here, it is estimated that by 2025, the production of this LaFerrari should be around 10,000 units," said Sergio Marchionne.
