The entry-level sedan is covered with glass from the windshield to the rear window, making this glass possible to apply to the Model 3. The head of Tesla Glass is Mike Pilliod, who was previously Apple's top materials engineer. He holds several patents for glass-related innovations, including glass touch screen technology.
