Mazda to launch new energy vehicle series from 2021

According to overseas media reports, Mazda officially announced that it will launch a series of new energy vehicle models starting from 2021 to cope with increasingly high carbon dioxide emission standards.

As a car brand that is committed to developing the potential of traditional internal combustion engines, Mazda is somewhat unique in today's environment. However, recently, its official announcement was made that it will launch its first plug-in hybrid vehicle in 2021, and pure electric models and models equipped with 48V mild hybrid systems will also be launched in the future.
While developing electric vehicle technology, Mazda's traditional internal combustion engine technology is also constantly developing. Engines equipped with uniform compression technology will be mass-produced in 2018 or 2019. Combined with technologies such as lightweight body, the fuel economy of Mazda brand models will be further improved. In addition, Mazda's Skyactiv-2 technology will be launched in 2020.
