Did Lenovo make money by selling 50 million mobile phones?

Yesterday, Lenovo announced its 2013-2014 fiscal year results. Data showed that Lenovo sold 50 million smartphones and 9.2 million tablets last year. Mobile phone sales increased by 72.3% year-on-year, and market share increased to 4.6%. It is worth mentioning that the sales of these mobile phones and tablets accounted for 13% of Lenovo's total revenue. So did Lenovo's mobile phone business make a lot of money? Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing gave a general answer to this: "The mobile business is no longer losing money." Yang Yuanqing has his own opinion on the issue of making money. He said that although Lenovo achieved sales of 50 million units, from a global perspective, Lenovo's share is only 4%, which is far from the target share of 10%, so profitability is not the main goal.
