To improve the objectivity of the survey, Consumer Reports will ask car owners about service visits and repairs in a total of 17 areas, including minor issues such as brake noise and interior damage, as well as major issues such as traditional system repairs after the warranty expires and four-wheel drive system failures.

However, Tesla was apparently not satisfied with the survey results and responded in a statement that due to the continuous improvement of the car, the current customer satisfaction with Model X is much higher than the results of the Consumer Reports survey.
