Evergrande Health and FF announced a settlement and the stock price rose nearly 5% at the opening on Wednesday

On the morning of January 2, Evergrande Health's stock price rose sharply at the opening today, closing at HK$10.8, an increase of 4.85%. On the evening of December 31, Evergrande Health issued an announcement showing that Evergrande Health and FF controlled by Jia Yueting reached a restructuring agreement. According to the agreement, Evergrande holds 32% of FF's preferred equity and 100% of FF Hong Kong. At the same time, all original agreements between the two parties will be terminated, Evergrande will no longer need to inject funds into FF, and agrees to release the existing pledge.

In addition, the two parties also agreed to withdraw and waive all existing litigation, arbitration proceedings and all rights to future litigation. Jia Yueting can repurchase Evergrande's 32% FF equity within 5 years.

In the announcement, Evergrande Health stated that signing the restructuring agreement will enable the company to focus on business development while supporting the financing and development of the joint venture, "which is in line with the overall interests of the company and shareholders."

This also means that the dispute between Evergrande and Jia Yueting was finally settled through settlement.
