China's new energy vehicle sales increased by 19.3% year-on-year in July, but Tesla's sales in China fell by 24% month-on-month

The latest data released by the China Passenger Car Association shows that in July 2020, China's sales of new energy vehicles reached 98,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 19.3%, ending a 12-month negative growth trend. Although Tesla still maintains the "first place in pure electric vehicles", from the market point of view, Tesla's sales in China in July were only 11,000 units, a 24% drop from June.

What’s interesting is that although Tesla faces severe challenges at the market level, it still chooses to “refuse to deliver” to Pinduoduo, a new channel.
