Some users have discovered the latest lock screen security vulnerability in iOS 7, which can be used to bypass the default password input interface. This security vulnerability allows attackers to complete it in as fast as 5 seconds. Of course, this is not the first time that iOS 7 has been exposed to security vulnerabilities. This security vulnerability requires some specific conditions to work properly. It should be noted that after bypassing the lock screen through this method, only the application that was running in the foreground before the lock screen can be accessed. Although the entire iOS 7 system cannot be accessed, the user's privacy is still at risk depending on the application. After testing, it was found that both iOS 7.0.6 and iOS 7.1.1 systems were affected. To test this vulnerability, there needs to be a missed call in the notification center, and the control center needs to be accessible on the lock screen interface. Here are the detailed steps: 1. Open any application and lock the screen. 2. Activate the device and access the control center, then enter airplane mode, pull down the notification center, and click on the missed call. The vulnerability is not available in iOS 8, and it is unclear whether Apple will release a patch to fix the security hole.
