CATL and Pengcheng Unlimited reach technology licensing cooperation

Recently, Shenzhen Pengcheng Unlimited New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Pengcheng Unlimited") and CATL signed a technology authorization and after-sales service agreement in Ningde, Fujian. Pengcheng Unlimited General Manager Lv Jian and CATL Energy Storage Technology Center Director Dr. Lu Yanhua attended the signing ceremony. Pengcheng Unlimited General Manager Lin Cailan and CATL Energy Storage Technology Director Lin Jiubiao signed the contract on behalf of both parties.

According to the agreement, Pengcheng Unlimited can use the technology authorized by CATL to produce its energy storage batteries and battery cells, modules, electric boxes, battery cabinets and other products. At the same time, CATL will also provide after-sales services for authorized products.

Lu Jian, general manager of Pengcheng Unlimited, said: "With the full support of CATL's technology licensing, Pengcheng Unlimited will quickly enhance the company's product competitiveness in the energy storage field. In the future, the two parties will work together to promote global sustainable development, assist in the adjustment of the national energy structure, and contribute to the country's 'dual carbon' strategic goals."

Dr. Lu Yanhua, Director of CATL's Energy Storage Technology Center, said: "This signing with Pengcheng Unlimited is one of CATL's practical explorations to share its technological achievements and promote the universalization of global science and technology. In the future, the two parties will strengthen cooperation and jointly promote the popularization and application of energy storage technologies and products, helping to accelerate the global transition to clean energy."

Pengcheng Unlimited is mainly engaged in battery manufacturing, sales, and energy storage technology services, and its products cover power supply side, transmission and distribution side, and user side energy storage solutions. With this signing, Pengcheng Unlimited becomes the first battery manufacturing and sales company in China to have both CATL technology authorization and after-sales service authorization.
