China Passenger Car Association: Tesla China will sell 82,432 new cars in November 2023, accounting for one-tenth of the new energy market

According to the official information from the China Passenger Car Association, in the just-concluded November, Tesla China wholesaled a total of 82,432 new cars, accounting for one-tenth of the new energy market. Driven by new models and sales policies, Tesla's wholesale volume increased by more than 10,000 units compared with October, a month-on-month increase of 14%. As of now, the cumulative delivery volume of Tesla's Shanghai factory in the first 11 months of 2023 has reached about 854,000 vehicles, an increase of 30% year-on-year in 2022. According to Tesla's Q3 2023 financial report, the annual production capacity of the Shanghai factory has increased to more than 950,000 vehicles.

As the end of the year approaches, many manufacturers have entered the year-end sprint stage in November.

The China Passenger Car Association estimates that the wholesale sales of new energy passenger vehicles in November will be 940,000, a year-on-year increase of 29% and a month-on-month increase of 6%. From January to November this year, the cumulative wholesale sales volume is 7.74 million, a year-on-year increase of 35%.

According to the forecast of Chenglianhui, in 2023, China's sales of new energy passenger vehicles will reach 8.5 million units, and the sales of narrow passenger vehicles will reach 23.5 million units. The annual penetration rate of new energy vehicles is expected to reach 36%.
