Almost no one uses Windows Phone in China?

Windows Phone phones were previously mainly sold by Nokia. Although they were not very popular, there are still many people using Windows Phone phones in China. Recently, Microsoft has been busy modifying and promoting Windows 10. It also acquired the Nokia brand. It seems that because of too many layoffs, internal affairs cannot be handled for a while, and the sales of WP phones in the market have slowed down.

According to a Kantar mobile market share statistics report reported by foreign media, from September 2013 to September 2014, an important period of mobile phone market sales, Windows Phone in the US market has seen a 0.3% drop, from 4.6% to 4.3%. In China, Windows Phone's market share has dropped from 2.8% to 0.4%.

According to the above statistical report, the agency believes that almost no one in China still uses WP phones. They also believe that Samsung and Sony can no longer compete with Xiaomi or Huawei in China. The market share of Windows Phone in other countries and regions has also declined. The only good news is that the market share in Italy and Japan increased by 1.5% and 0.2% respectively.

Foreigners seem to think that sales volume represents market share. In fact, if you have a Windows Phone, unless it is completely unusable, you will basically have no desire to upgrade. Moreover, it can also satisfy many people who don't want to tinker with their phones. For parents and elders at home, WP may be more suitable for them than Android and iOS.
