Yiche Ranking: China's overall passenger car sales in the 11th week of 2024 reached 337,000 units, a 10% increase from the previous week

According to recent news, the overall sales volume of Yiche Ranking in the 11th week (3.11-3.17) was released.

The overall passenger car sales volume was 337,000 units, up 10% from the previous week; among them, the sales volume of fuel vehicles was 179,000 units, up 11% from the previous week;

Sales of new energy vehicles reached 158,000 units, up 9% from the previous week.

In the 11th week, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles was 46.88%, and in the 10th week, the penetration rate was 48.25%. It has exceeded 45% for two consecutive weeks and is approaching the historic moment of 50%.

Recently, at the China Electric Vehicle 100 Forum, BYD Chairman and President Wang Chuanfu said that it is estimated that the penetration rate of new energy vehicles may exceed 50% in the next three months , or even higher, forming a dominant position for new energy vehicles in the market.

Wang Chuanfu also said that competition in the new energy vehicle market is becoming increasingly fierce, and the industry will enter a brutal elimination stage.
