BYD: BYD passenger car sales in May 2024 totaled 330,488 units, a year-on-year increase of 38%

BYD has announced its sales results for May, with a total of 330,488 passenger cars sold , a year-on-year increase of 38%. Among them, Dynasty Network sold 172,051 units, Ocean Network sold 143,108 units, Yangwang brand delivered 608 units, Fangchengbao brand delivered 2,430 units, and Denza brand delivered 12,223 units. In May, 37,499 units were exported and battery shipments were 14.159GWh.

Specifically for car models, the Qin series (Qin PLUS + Qin L) won the sales championship, with sales of 57,072 units in the month and over 180,000 units for the year; followed by Song PLUS , with sales of 44,907 units in May and 179,000 units for the year; the third place was BYD Yuan series, with sales of 40,231 units in May. That is to say, BYD's sales of the top three in May all exceeded 40,000 units.

Fourth place is BYD Song series (Song Pro + Song L), with monthly sales of 37,267 units and cumulative sales this year of nearly 160,000 units; fifth place is BYD Seagull, with sales of 35,370 units in May; sixth place is Destroyer 05, with sales of 32,883 units in May; seventh place is BYD Han, with sales of 22,003 units in May.

The other models with monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units were BYD Tang (15,478 units), BYD Seal series (14,311 units), BYD Dolphin (10,624 units), and Denza D9 (10,158 units).
