SNE Research: CATL's installed capacity of power batteries will be 339.3GWh in 2024, ranking first in the world

According to recent news, South Korean battery and energy research company SNE Research recently released global power battery usage data in 2024.

Among them, CATL once again stood out and successfully topped the global list for eight consecutive years.

The list shows that the global total usage of power batteries reached 894.4GWh in 2024, a significant increase of 26.8% compared with the previous year.

Among many battery companies, CATL's performance is particularly eye-catching. Its global installed capacity reached 339.3GWh, a year-on-year growth rate of 31.7%, and its market share further climbed to 37.9%.

BYD ranked second with an installed capacity of 153.7GWh, a growth rate of 37.5%, and a market share of 17.2%. LG Energy Solution ranked third with an installed capacity of 96.3GWh and a market share of 10.8%.

Sinotruk ranked fourth with a total installed capacity of 39.4GWh, accounting for 4.4% of the market, while SK on ranked fifth with an installed capacity of 39GWh, accounting for 4.4% of the market.

In addition, the top ten also include Panasonic, Samsung SDI, Guoxuan High-tech, Yiwei Lithium Energy and Xinwangda.
