Apple's new iMac exposed: using USB-C standard

Foreign media said that the 12-inch MacBook and MacBook Pro will also usher in a minor update next year. "Mac users should not expect to see a completely new product design style in 2017. In fact, Apple will only make minor updates to the existing product line. For example, the iMac will only add a USB-C interface and a new AMD graphics card, while the 12-inch MacBook and MacBook Pro will be updated even less, only replacing the processor." People familiar with the matter said that 2017 will not be a "big year" for the update of the Mac product line. Well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo once said that the new generation of iMac will be released in the first half of 2017. As of today, the iMac has not been updated for 434 days. According to the current interface equipped on the MacBook Pro, if the iMac also adopts the USB-C standard, then it should contain 8 Thunderbolt 3 interfaces. In addition, foreign media also said that Apple is developing a Mac keyboard equipped with Touch Bar and Touch ID, but it is not known when the new keyboard will be released.
