BlackBerry's last self-owned mobile phone is fully exposed: dual-curved full keyboard

Foreign media earlier exposed the CES product launch poster of BlackBerry's "Mercury" (or DTEK70), which is also BlackBerry's last mobile phone product developed and designed by itself.

Today, more information about Mercury has been released. In terms of hardware configuration, BlackBerry engineers were not stingy with Mercury.

Mercury is equipped with a 4.5-inch 1080p hyperbolic touch screen, as well as the iconic QWERTY physical keyboard, and the space bar has integrated fingerprint recognition.

Mercury is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 3GB of memory, 8-megapixel and 18-megapixel front and rear cameras respectively, and a built-in 3400mAh battery, so the battery life should be quite impressive.

In terms of software, Mercury will run a customized version of Android 7.0 and support BlackBerry's unique security settings.

As mentioned earlier, Mercury will be officially released at the CES in January 2017. From now on, BlackBerry will no longer launch its own mobile phones, but will authorize the research and development and manufacturing of mobile phone hardware to TCL.
