Twitter launches Explore button to provide trend discovery function

Twitter recently revamped its mobile app, in which the "Moments" button was replaced with an "Explore" button to make the overall user experience smoother.

Moments itself is bundled into Explore, which also includes trending messages, search, live video, etc. The new version of Twitter is being released gradually, initially landing on the iOS platform, and will also come to the Android platform in the coming weeks.

Twitter confirmed last October that it would add an Explore button, a section that would include the most interesting tweets about a particular event.

Before the launch of Moments, Twitter also provided a section called Discover, but it only showed accounts and messages that users might be interested in. Currently, the content on Twitter is becoming more and more. In 2015, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said that an important area of ​​his future focus is to "simplify our service." Explore is part of it.

Twitter acknowledges that it's not easy to discover what's happening on the platform, and Explore is a step toward that goal.
