The US government has recently announced that it has equipped the Global Combat Support System (GCSS, a branch of the US Army) with 9,783 Getac F110 G3 customized Windows 10 tablets. This includes the tablet body and the docking station. It is reported that the Getac F110 G3 runs the Windows 10 Professional operating system and has specially customized features such as shockproof and drop-proof. In terms of configuration, the Getac F110 G3 tablet also uses the latest hardware products. It is equipped with an Intel Skylake Core i5/i7 processor, 4GB of memory (up to 16GB) and a 1TB SSD. The screen is an 11.6-inch anti-glare touch screen with a resolution of 1366*768. In addition, the Getac F110 G3 also supports NFC, RFID, smart card readers, barcode readers and fingerprint scanners, and can realize GPS, 4G LTE, 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 data communications. It is equipped with two 2160mAh lithium-ion hot-swappable batteries with a battery life of 12 hours. These Getac F110 G3 tablets will be primarily distributed to the U.S. Army and National Guard, greatly improving the efficiency of technology, applications and workflows.
