Samsung S8 is ruined by rear fingerprint sensor: it takes 6 seconds to read

Last night, the review of Samsung S8/S8+ was released in Europe and the United States, and in fact, starting from the 17th, pre-order users in the United States, South Korea, Canada and other places have begun to receive their goods.

Today, 9to5Google wrote a separate article, again complaining about the fingerprint module of S8/S8+.

The author NexusBen said that the rear fingerprint sensors of S8 and S8+ are actually very high and not easy to reach. And as we all know, if you often accidentally touch the camera lens, you will be prompted to wipe it clean when you open the camera.

He made a GIF to emphasize that there was a problem with the S8 in his hand, which was that the fingerprint sensor was so poor and yet it was not sensitive.

Ben said it took him 6 seconds to successfully recognize the image, and he found the efficiency so unbelievably low that it was maddening.

Although the S8 has added iris and facial recognition to assist in unlocking, Ben believes that many current payment and password applications only support fingerprints and are used very frequently, so he recommends that users who are considering buying the S8 think carefully.
