ComputeBase: Survey shows that AMD RX 9070 series graphics card sales accounted for 67.4%, far exceeding the RTX 50 series

The RX 9070 series finally won back a game for AMD graphics cards this time! Although it does not reach the flagship level, it still won the favor of many players with its significant performance improvement and super high cost performance, especially when the RTX 50 series is high-priced, out of stock, and has frequent problems.

Foreign hardware media Hardware Unboxed has previously pointed out that an interesting fact is that if the RX 9070 series is sold out soon after it goes on sale, it means that its initial sales will exceed the total of all models in the RTX 50 series!

Germany's ComputeBase conducted a survey, asking everyone about their purchase of new cards. A total of 4,219 people participated, which is not a small number in Germany.

Unfortunately, only 726 players bought the graphics cards, accounting for only 17% . Obviously, the initial shortage was very serious and everywhere.

Among those who have already bought graphics cards, 67.4% have purchased AMD RX 9070 series, which means that two out of every three people bought A cards.

Looking at them separately, the RX 9070 XT had better sales, accounting for 43.5% , while the RX 9070 accounted for 13.9%, with a rough ratio of 3:1.

The RTX 50 series accounts for only 24.0% in total , including RTX 5090 7.0%, RTX 5080 12.3%, and RTX 5070 Ti 4.7%. The latest RTX 5070 has just been launched and no one has bought it yet.

As for the remaining 18.6%, they bought old cards for various reasons.

What is not optimistic is that among all the respondents , as many as 40.5% of the gamers do not plan to upgrade their graphics cards this year, and 18.7% want to but have lost interest due to the hassles.

Those who are still trying to buy a card are 23.6%.

Gamers Nexus also conducted a survey, with a total of 143,000 people voting, of which only 10% bought the new card, and 19% tried but couldn't buy it.

As many as 71% of players have no interest at all.
