iOS 8.1.1 released: Improved iPad 2 and iPhone 4s performance

After two weeks of testing, Apple released the official version of iOS 8.1.1, which fixed some bugs in the system. Apple released the first iOS 8.1.1 beta to developers on November 3. Users can complete the upgrade via OTA. Apple also released new Apple TV software and OS X Yosemite upgrade patch OS X 10.10.1.

According to Apple's release notes, iOS 8.1.1 improves stability and performance for iPad 2 and iPhone 4s, two older iOS devices that support iOS 8. iOS 8.1.1 only fixes some bugs and does not include new features, such as improved maps and iPad split-screen function. Of course, these new features may be launched in iOS 8.2 or iOS 8.3.
