Apple is rumored to be planning a new 4-inch iPhone in 2015

A few days ago, Taiwan's Electronic Times cited news from the supply chain that Apple will launch a new 4-inch iPhone model in the second half of 2015. The reason for doing so is to take into account the convenience of one-handed operation for users (especially female users). Obviously, the 4-inch iPhone will fill the gap left by the larger iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

In addition, even without this machine, the history of Apple's product line has shown that the 4-inch iPhone 5s will also exist as a low-end model. As for the iPhone 5c, it is very likely to be discontinued.

If Apple wants to bring the three new 2015 iPhone products into a unified front, then this legendary 4-inch new iPhone will at least have some improvements in hardware configuration.

After Apple launched the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus in September this year, it set a new sales record in the first week.

Although the iPhone 6 was more popular, the iPhone 6 Plus captured 41% of sales in the "phablet" (large-screen smartphone) market.
