Ubuntu's first desktop-integrated phone is coming

[[151074]]

As we all know, Canonical has been working hard to develop a desktop environment for PCs, tablets and mobile phones, Ubuntu Touch, MIr, Unity and convergence.

Recently, Canonical's Pat McGowan announced that the first Ubuntu converged phone will be released in 2016, and the device supplier is still unknown.

The merged Ubuntu system will use the same code base, support Ubuntu touch and Ubuntu desktop, and the user interface will behave differently on different devices. On mobile devices, the window will be full screen, and on the Ubuntu desktop, the window will still be minimizable and will have an X and – button in the upper right corner.
