Huawei Mate 20 Pro returns to the Android Q list

Today, foreign media discovered that the Mate 20 Pro, which was previously removed by Google, is back and continues to support the latest Android Q Beta test version. At this month's Google I/O Developer Conference, the official announced the first batch of manufacturers supporting Android Q, including Google Pixel, OnePlus, Transsion, Xiaomi, Asus, Huawei, Sony, Nokia, OPPO, LG, Essential, vivo, realme, etc. Among them, Huawei's Mate 20 Pro can try out the Android Q Beta version.

However, due to external factors, although Google imposed restrictions on Huawei, the restrictions were later relaxed, so the Mate 20 Pro returned to this camp.

At present, the Android Q Beta version page shows that Huawei Mate 20 Pro has returned, and the list also includes ASUS ZenFone 5Z, Essential Phone, LG G8, Nokia 8.1, OnePlus 6T, OPPO Reno, realme 3 Pro, Sony Xperia XZ3, Transsion SPARK 3 Pro, vivo X27, vivo NEX S, vivo NEX A, Xiaomi 9, Xiaomi MIX 3 5G version, Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel and Pixel XL. These devices can get Android Q Beta version updates.

Previously, Huawei's consumer business CEO Richard Yu revealed that Huawei will release its self-developed operating system as early as this fall or at the latest next spring. Richard Yu revealed that Huawei's self-developed operating system has opened up various fields such as mobile phones, computers, tablets, TVs, cars, smart wearables, etc., and will also be compatible with Android applications and all Web applications.
