On November 16, according to Windows Central, Microsoft announced that the Cortana application on iOS and Android will be phased out in some markets early next year.

The report pointed out that the Cortana apps on Android and iOS will stop running on January 31, including Cortana on Microsoft Launcher. What is certain is that Microsoft will phase out Cortana on Android and iOS in markets such as the UK and Canada. It is not yet known whether the US market will be affected.

Microsoft said in a statement that it has integrated Cortana into Microsoft 365 as part of its productivity tools. It also announced that Cortana will be phased out on Android and iOS platforms on January 31, 2020.
