2019 APP download rankings released: Douyin ranks second with over 700 million downloads

Recently, the data statistics company Sensor Tower released the 2019 APP download data, among which the domestic magic APP Douyin (known as TikTok abroad) ranked second only to WhatsApp! Among them, WhatsAPP was downloaded 850 million times, ranking first; TikTok was downloaded 700 million times, ranking second; Facebook Messenger was downloaded 700 million times, ranking third. The 4th to 10th places are Facebook, Instagram, likee, Shareit, YouTube, Snapchat, and Netflix respectively. In addition, UC Browser ranked 11th with over 200 million downloads. Douyin is probably the most successful domestic mobile app so far. As of 2019, the total number of downloads of this app in the Apple AppStore and Google Play app stores worldwide (called TikTok overseas) exceeded 1.5 billion times, of which 614 million times were downloaded in 2019 alone. The data here does not even include downloads from third-party app stores. If this part is included, the total number of downloads of Douyin may be higher. |
