Windows 10X can be started on Surface Pro 7 and most drivers work fine

Although the first batch of hardware products running Windows 10X will be unveiled in a few months, technology enthusiasts can't wait to try this operating system, which has many differences in experience from Windows 10, on various devices other than virtual machines. The latest news is that XDeltaXForce has successfully started Windows 10X on Microsoft's own Surface Pro 7 computer, and was pleasantly surprised to find that most drivers can work normally.

Most drivers worked straight out of the box, with the exception of the gravity sensor, and the audio driver only required a registry patch to enable.

Of course, this version of Windows 10X is still some way from being finished, and while the battery life is comparable to the regular Windows 10 release, there are still a lot of issues that can be encountered during use.

It is reported that Windows 10X can be regarded as Microsoft's Chrome OS-like operating system, focusing on no legacy, easy update, and low maintenance cost experience.

Although only UWP and PWA applications can be run in the initial stage, Microsoft is expected to introduce Win32 applications that can run in a sandbox for Windows 10X in the future.
