WeChat 315 issued three warnings: No tolerance for violations

Today is March 15th. WeChat has issued a message to remind everyone not to participate in any form of fraudulent activities and to be vigilant against online fraud.

1. Please do not use WeChat functions to publish illegal information or participate in any form of fraudulent activities .

2. Be wary of online fraud, pay attention to WeChat anti-fraud security tips , resist the temptation of "pie in the sky", and protect your property safety.

3. When it comes to purchasing medical supplies such as masks, please rationally choose official and formal channels to place orders to ensure product quality and financial security, and protect the safety of yourself and your family.

WeChat said that it has always maintained a zero-tolerance attitude towards the sale of counterfeit and shoddy goods, and has severely and resolutely cracked down on the use of WeChat to sell counterfeit and shoddy goods. WeChat will never tolerate illegal and irregular behaviors such as mini-program fraud, online earning, and purchasing masks on behalf of others! It will continue to maintain a high-pressure crackdown on such accounts.

Throughout 2020, WeChat handled a total of 2,571 fraudulent mini-programs and 43,252 official accounts; 265 online money-making mini-programs and 20,199 official accounts.

Targeting illegal order-placing organizers/gangs, a total of 27,747 individual accounts were cracked down on and dealt with according to the severity of the violations, and 14,685 fraudulent WeChat groups were blocked/warned.

For those who participate in fake orders, WeChat will force the user to log off once verification has been made , and the user will receive a security reminder article when logging in again.
