This morning, at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office, in response to a reporter's question about the recent removal of the Didi Chuxing App and other issues related to App governance, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's spokesperson and Director of the Information and Communications Administration Zhao Zhiguo said that he had paid attention to this information. All competent departments and relevant departments have formed a joint force and continued to strengthen App governance in accordance with their responsibilities.

Zhao Zhiguo introduced that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology attaches great importance to the protection of App user rights and interests, and continues to carry out rectification actions against Apps that infringe on user rights and interests.

So far, a total of 760,000 apps have been inspected, 748 illegal apps have been reported, and 245 apps that refused to rectify have been removed from the shelves. High pressure deterrence continues to be maintained against illegal activities.

In terms of data security, Zhao Zhiguo introduced that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued the "Guidelines for the Construction of Data Security Standards System in the Telecommunications and Internet Industries" and has done a series of work.

In the next step, a data security management system will be introduced. The formulation of data security management policies in the field of industry and information technology will be accelerated to better implement the "Data Security Law" in the industry.

Organize and carry out related work such as industry data classification and management, formulation of important data catalogs, build a standard system in the field of industry data security, and research and formulate important standards for data security in the fields of Internet of Vehicles, Industrial Internet, etc.

According to China Cyberspace Affairs Commission, on July 16, the Cyberspace Administration of China, together with the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of National Security, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Transport, State Administration of Taxation, State Administration for Market Regulation and other departments, jointly entered Didi Chuxing Technology Co., Ltd. to carry out a network security review.
