WeChat launches 5 new features, including limited-time status and quick delivery by long pressing

01Add WeChat status

With the opening of the Tokyo Olympics, when you open WeChat and add a status, you will find that two new "limited-time statuses" have been added: one is "cheering" and the other is "watching the game."

WeChat has quietly launched a new status of "waiting for the weather to clear up". 02Long press to send quickly

WeChat has also launched a quick delivery function. In the chat message, the recipient's name, phone number, and address will appear. Press and hold for 2 seconds and select "Search". It will jump to the delivery service entrance, and then click "Go to Send".

Next, you need to fill in the order content, including: sender information, courier company, shipping method, item information, notes, and finally click "Place Order".

After the express is sent out, there are two ways to check the logistics. One is to enter "#查快递" in the WeChat dialog box, authorize the mobile phone number to query, and know the express itinerary at any time.

Another method is to take a photo of the express delivery receipt, send it to WeChat, open the photo, press and hold for 2 seconds, and select "Recognize barcode in image" to quickly obtain logistics information.

03Allow payment with watch

This new feature is good news for Apple users! Previously, Apple Watch only supported Alipay payment, but finally in version 8.0.9, WeChat payment function has been added to Apple Watch. However, this feature is currently in the grayscale testing stage and not all Apple users support it.

04Make a standard ID photo

When you urgently need ID photos in your life, many people go to photo studios. In fact, it is not that troublesome. You can open the "ID Photos" applet on WeChat and make ID photos of various specifications.

You can add photos from your album, or take a photo directly, and it will automatically generate an ID photo with a white background, blue background, red background, or gradient colors. You can switch between them at will, and finally click "Save" to your mobile phone album.

05Simultaneous login on multiple devices

Currently, WeChat supports mobile phones, tablets, and computers. You can log in to the three devices at the same time and receive messages simultaneously. You can see the logged-in devices on your mobile phone, and transferring files between multiple devices is faster and more convenient. If you have a smart watch, it also supports simultaneous login on the watch.
