Just now, iOS WeChat released the official version 8.0.12

Surprisingly, iOS WeChat was updated again today. It’s hard to say what the current version is. Why is it so hard to say? First of all, I updated it immediately after receiving the update prompt.

When I updated, the App Store showed it as the official version 8.0.12, and WeChat also showed it as the official version 8.0.12. But when I entered the App Store again, it showed it as the official version 8.0.11. I was completely confused and didn't know which version it was.

According to the document, this update still solves some known issues, and no new features are mentioned. I also took a look and found no changes. Then I went to the WeChat official website to check, but the result was a bit surprising.

Currently, WeChat only shows the update records before August 19th, but there is no record of the official version 8.0.11 released by Android WeChat yesterday and the iOS version released today. The specific reason is unknown. I personally think that the iOS update this time is really to fix some bugs.
