The N95 mask is one of the nine types of anti-particle masks certified by the US NIOSH . "N" means non-oily particles; "95" means that under the testing conditions specified by NIOSH standards, the filtration efficiency reaches 95%.

KN95 masks comply with China's GB 2626 mandatory standard, with a non-oily particle filtration efficiency of ≥95%.

The testing methods for the filtration efficiency of these two levels of masks are exactly the same! The filtration efficiency level is consistent! KN95 meets the same requirements as N95, but KN95 meets Chinese standards while N95 meets US standards.
