In addition to daily necessities, I also bought some "cross-border goods" shipped from bonded warehouses, which allow us to enjoy the Black Friday prices abroad without leaving home. It's really a good deal. Although the beautiful prices are attractive, the safety and quality of the products should always be put first.

This time, Daddy Test, Hangzhou Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone Quality and Safety Public Service Platform, National Monitoring Center for Cross-border E-commerce Product Quality and Safety Risk, Zhejiang Institute of Inspection and Quarantine Science and Technology and other units jointly sampled 140 batches of products with high attention:

The first batch of random inspection results are out, and I’d like to give you a report now.

1. Cosmetics: If you have read our reviews and bought liquid foundation on Double Eleven, please raise your hands~

A total of 39 batches of cross-border imported cosmetics were sampled, including 18 batches of hair dyes, 8 batches of lipsticks, 4 batches of liquid foundation, 2 batches of loose powder, 4 batches of eye shadow, 3 batches of eyelash growth liquid, etc. The test items covered microorganisms, heavy metals, hair dyes, pigments, banned ingredients, preservatives, etc.

In this random inspection, only the "Thailand ODBO Crayon Lipstick Bean Paste Aunt Color Ozisa" lipstick was found to contain the banned pigment "Pigment Red 53:1 (CI 15585:1)", which does not comply with my country's cosmetics safety technical specifications and poses a quality and safety risk.

2. Enzyme products In September this year, we tested 12 enzyme jellies, of which 6 samples were found to contain sennoside. This time, we collected clues from fans and tested 13 batches of enzyme products including enzyme juice, enzyme jelly, and enzyme tablets.

The testing items for enzyme products mainly cover 33 items including heavy metals, pigments, sweeteners, preservatives, nutrients, drug ingredients, energy values, etc.

Sennoside A and sennoside B were detected in 5 enzyme products at the same time, with the content of sennoside A ranging from 0.357mg/kg to 87.6mg/kg, and the content of sennoside B ranging from 0.179mg/kg to 94.4mg/kg.

In previous reviews, we have already reminded everyone that you should try to avoid taking enzymes that cause obvious bowel movements or diarrhea. If you are not a patient with long-term constipation, we recommend that you improve your lifestyle by adjusting your diet, drinking more water, exercising more, and establishing good bowel habits.

3. Functional drinks In the article “Energy Drinks” we published last week, a fan left a message saying: I drank a can of Red Bull and suffered from insomnia for several days.

Who is to blame for this? We tested 13 batches of functional drinks including Red Bull, protein shakes, and red ginseng juice:

The main tests included 42 items including heavy metals, preservatives, pigments, microorganisms, nutrients, and drug ingredients, and no quality and safety risks were found.

However, we would also like to remind everyone that when purchasing these beverage products, you should first read the ingredients clearly to avoid choosing ingredients that you are intolerant to or unsuitable for. In addition, if you need to be refreshed, you still need to rely on moderate exercise and adequate sleep, and if you need nutrition, you still need to rely on a balanced diet. Don't rely too much on so-called "functional drinks".
