What is tissue paper?

01 Fluorescent agent

02 Residual acrylamide monomer

The residual acrylamide monomer is irritating to the skin and eyes and may cause allergic reactions. This substance may be produced during the production process of paper towels.

GB/T 36420-2018 "Safety Assessment Management System for Chemicals and Raw Materials for Household Paper and Paper Products" stipulates that acrylamide in tissue paper should be ≤0.5mg/kg.

GB 15979-2002 "Hygiene Standard for Disposable Hygiene Products" is the hygiene standard for paper towels, which sets strict requirements for the total bacterial colony count, coliform group and other microbial indicators of paper towels:
