Have you ever tested your home for formaldehyde? Exceeding the standard for formaldehyde in your home may be easier than you think.

We started the "Formaldehyde Meter Drifting Activity" in 2016. By February 2022, a total of 180,074 households across the country participated, of which the formaldehyde exceeding standard rate was close to 31.6%, equivalent to——

However, our survey shows that 46% of the friends who participated in the survey have never tested formaldehyde.

Among those who have tested formaldehyde, 34% used formaldehyde self-testing kits, formaldehyde self-testing papers, and hundred-yuan detectors, which have large errors.

For those who haven't tested it before, especially for families who are planning to move into a new house, remember to test it before moving in. If you have tested it before and then added some large furniture, or the temperature and humidity were very low during the test, it is recommended to test it again.

Finally, let me share a piece of “heat” knowledge: the higher the temperature, the greater the amount of formaldehyde released, so when the weather gradually gets warmer, the peak period for formaldehyde detection arrives.
