Leprosy is a chronic infectious disease, mainly transmitted through respiratory inhalation of droplets and long-term close skin contact. Most people are immune to leprosy and the incidence rate is low. However, if it is not discovered and treated early, the disease may gradually develop into deformities such as lagophthalmos, crooked mouth, claw-shaped hands, drop feet, and plantar ulcers, which seriously affect the quality of life.
